Adding a touch of kiwi to your wedding

Who said us Kiwis aren’t patrotic? Some of our best selling invites feature kiwiana touchstones like paua, pohutukawas, nikau palms and toi-tois. Because of this we have expanded our kiwiana range to include more formats and more colour options. The majority of New Zealand weddings take place in summer and many of these are held outdoors. The beach is always popular and being surrounded by water there a number to choose from.

New Zealand beach weddings

If you want to incorporate a bit of New Zealand into your beach wedding, we suggest our Paua invite. Paua is our most famous shell and polishes up beautifully. The blues and greens are beautiful and provide a bright splash of colour that can be incorporated elsewhere in the wedding decorations.

Another invite that might work well for those getting married at a beach is our Pohutukawa and Bellbird invite. Pohutukawas bloom in summer (hence their English name – New Zealand Christmas Tree) and can be found on many New Zealand coastlines.

Invites featuring iconic New Zealand Flora

Only a New Zealander could love a cabbage tree! Even the name sounds less than appealing but for reasons beyond me – it has become a Kiwi favourite. Right up there with the toi-toi, nikau palm and silver fern (okay – may be not quite the silver fern). We have designed a range called the New Zealand Foorest which features all of these. Check it out.

Another popular invite that features an iconic New Zealand tree is our Nikau invite. The beauty of this invite is that you can request it any colour you like.
